How to play IMAGEPOISON

IMAGEPOISON is a match-3 game with a twist: your uploaded image is hidden beneath pixel glitch poison tiles. Clear enough glitch poison to reveal your picture and win.

Getting started

1. Scroll to the game area.
2. Click UPLOAD IMAGE and choose a photo, meme, or artwork — or tap one of the default images.
3. Match glitch poison tiles to reveal your image underneath.
4. Clear 85% of the grid to win.

Controls

• Click / Tap — Select a tile, then tap an adjacent tile to swap
• Swipe — On mobile, swipe toward a neighbor to swap
• Invalid swaps — If no match is created, tiles swap back
• 🔊 — Toggle sound in the game HUD

Matching & cascades

Match 3 or more tiles of the same color in a horizontal or vertical line. Cleared tiles disappear, tiles above fall down with gravity, and new glitch poison tiles spawn from the top. If new matches form, cascades continue automatically with increasing combo multipliers (up to ×10).

Special tiles

• 4 in a row/column — Creates a row (↔) or column (↕) clearer
• 5 in a row/column — Creates a bomb (💥) that clears a 3×3 area
• L or T shapes — Also create bombs
• Wild (★) — Matches any color when part of a match

Scoring

• 10 points per tile cleared (base)
• Combo multiplier: ×1.5 per cascade level
• +50 bonus for activating special tiles
• Top 10 scores saved locally on the leaderboard beside the game

Victory

Win by cleaning 85% of the 144 grid cells. Your revealed image and score appear on the results screen.

Game over

If no valid moves remain before reaching 85%, the game ends. Play again with the same or a new image.
